After many years of research and collection, L’Invitta Legione proudly presents The “MEZZI D'ASSALTO” Vintage Straps collection. 

UNIQUE AGED-FINISHING TECHNIQUE

The straps are aged carefully using the unique Sea-water treatment. The Sea-water treatment gives a very natural looking patinas; the leathers become incredibly soft and smooth, and even the buckles, which are made of the finest steel, become almost two tones from discoloration because of the treatment.  

Heritage "SANDWICH" TRIPLE FOLDING TECHNIQUE 

The “sandwich” triple folding technique is the exact traditional technique used in the original straps, which were equipped with the Flottiglia X M.A.S. Frogman during WWII.

BUCKLES ARE EXACT REITERATION FROM THE EARLIEST MARINA MILITARE

Every single detail, from the shape, colour, texture, thickness, material, to the distressed aged look, even the side-curve and angle are all identical to the original parts from the WWII wrist watches.

THE TRADITIONAL SEWING CRAFTSMANSHIP

Close attention is given to the Sewing craftsmanship. Premium waxed linen thread provides the strap with the toughness of original battle gear. From the loose end yarn to the seam technique, everything is identical to the original vintage straps. We are committed to bringing you the most authentic piece of history.

Dramatic leather discoloration effect 

Many of the old straps are filled with characters. The leather is slightly warped from the extensive use below the water, and the heat is the cause for the distress on the surface.  Our aging process allows our straps to display such characteristics even when new.

The Vintage Collection is  99% identical to the historical Marina Militare.
